Warrior Expeditions is honored to be the recipient of Nick Rados’ fundraiser hike along the 800 mile long Arizona Trail in December 2019!
Nick Rados is a United States Army combat veteran and long distance hiker from Big Bear Lake, California. Nick served in the United States Army from 2007 to 2012 as an Indirect Fire Infantryman and deployed to Afghanistan in 2010. After serving the in the United States Army, Nick thru hiked the 2,650 mile long Pacific Crest Trail in 2018 and half of the 3,100 mile long Continental Divide Trail in 2019.
On December 1st, 2019, Nick will attempt to thru hike the 800 mile long Arizona Trail in 22 days to bring awareness to the 22 veterans who lose their lives to suicide each day. Understanding the therapeutic value of outdoor therapy, Nick has dedicated his Arizona Trail thru hike to help veterans transition from their wartime experiences.
