Warrior Expeditions is honored to be the recipient of Jason Brocar’s 4,000 miles of fundraiser hikes through South Carolina, the Ozarks , and along the Pacific Crest Trail in 2022!
Jason Brocar is a United States Marine Corps and United States Army veteran who served as a Quartermaster in both services. With 13 years in the Marine Corps Jason was stationed in Iwakuni, Japan, Recruiting Station Kansas City and then Twenty-Nine Palms, California. Life outside the Marine Corps started with college and signing up in the California National Guard which ended up with his first deployment to Iraq. After his first deployment he transferred to Active Army and was stationed at Fort Polk and Fort Carson, with an additional 2 tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Upon retiring, with 23 years of military service, Jason decided to hike the Appalachian Trail in 2014.
The Appalachian Trail was such a life changing adventure Jason decided to make long distance hiking is calling. Since then, he has traveled over 7000 miles of trails within the US, Scotland, and Spain. In 2022, Jason plans on hiking another 4000 miles with trails crossing South Carolina, the Ozark Mountains, and the Pacific Crest Trail. Spending so much time outdoors is a refreshing feeling and he feels that all Veterans should be given the opportunity to challenge themselves in completing a long-distance hike. So while out on trail for 2022, Jason plans to raise awareness and funds for Warrior Expeditions.
